Shelly Mowder began working with Ruben Law Firm in the Fall of 2015. At this time, Shelly was given the chance to explore her true passion for helping others. In 2016, she transitioned into working as a paralegal for the practice focusing mainly on Bankruptcy cases. Shelly has personally aided in fighting to help families keep their homes and personal assets through tough times. Shelly’s work ethic and client communication skills set her apart from most other paralegal’s in the region.

Shelly was born and raised in Glen Burnie. She went to Glen Burnie High School and graduated in 2011. Shelly graduated in 2014 from Anne Arundel Community College with her associate degree as a Paralegal and is working on finishing her degree in Investigative Forensics from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2020. Throughout college Shelly was on the Dean’s List.

Shelly is an animal lover and has three cats of her own, Harley, Fiona, and Mercury. In her free time, Shelly enjoys reading and watching true crime shows.
