Maria Lukens

Maria Lukens began with Ruben Law Firm during the summer of 2020 as a paralegal. Quickly, she became a vital member of the staff, due to her devotion to each and every case she works on. She graduated with an associate of arts in Criminal Justice at Fredrick Community College and a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, College Park. She is a member of the National Organization for Victim’s Assistance in addition to the National Criminal Justice Association.

Maria’s skills focus on research and development, legal writing, legal fundamentals, data gathering and entry, due diligence, and file management. Maria was a research assistant at UMD for Family Law in the Family Sciences Department and two cases she researched are getting published in the Textbook Family Law for NonLawyers that is scheduled to be published next year. In her free time, Maria loves to hang with friends and go axe throwing. She loves coffee, dogs, and also speaks American Sign Language.
